Daddy's girls!

Watching my wife have my daughter was the greatest moment of my life. The person who I love most in this world is now having the only person that could tie her for tops on that list. It took me a good four months to get comfortable with the whole thing, it all seemed surreal. My two girls are the greatest things in my life. For me to have a daughter is so great. Having a girl gave me a false sense of confidence that she wouldn't get hurt as much. WRONG. Every day I come home from work, my baby has a new boo-boo. I work a lot during the week and I only see her for three hours a day tops. So on weekends, it is hard to drag me away from her. Think about it, in a five day week there are 120 hours. I get 15 of those. Both of my girls get all my attention on the weekends. Except for the occasional golf game. My daughter is a lot like me. For those who know me you know I don't lack for self confidence, and I think my little girl is the same way. Look out world, Macyn's coming.

That was so cool what you wrote there, Eric. Who knew you had that in you?

Ain't life grand with kids? I personally think that's what life is all about - procreating and raising our 'spawn' as well as we can. They are our legacy.

I am so happy for you and Ashley, and for Macyn, because she is so loved.

Love you both!

P.S. Way cool blog! Thanks for doing this, Ashley! I almost feel like I'm back 'in the loop'.
